Waste Management Contract

Effective on June 1, 2021, the Painters Ridge Owners Association Board of Directors unanimously approved the automatic renewal of the attached three-year contract with Waste Management.  The current monthly rate per Member household is approximately $14.25 (varies slightly month to month based on fuel costs) and is paid by the PROA Management Company. 

Painter Ridge Owners Association (PROA) – Association Officers Elected – PROA Design Review Committee Chair Appointed

On October 19-21, 2020, the following were unanimously elected by email by the Painters Ridge Owners Association (PROA) Board of Directors to serve as PROA Officers until the conclusion of the 2021 Annual Member Meeting.
Director Chuck Hackard – President
Director Dan Hampton – Vice President
Director John Topolnicki – Secretary
Director Robert (Bob) O’Toole – Treasurer, and
Director Brian Bates – At Large

Director Chuck Hackard was appointed by the PROA Board Directors to serve as Chair of the PROA Design Review Committee, and he was authorized to appoint Committee Members. PROA Members may volunteer to serve on the Committee by contacting Director Hackard at charleshackard@centurylink.net.

Alternate 2020 Annual Member Meeting Election Results

The results of the United States Postal Service mail voting for three (3) Directors to serve on the Painters Ridge Owners Association (PROA) Board of Directors and one (1) Delegate to represent the PROA before the Crystal Valley Ranch Mater Association are below. The required quorum of at least twelve (12) valid ballots received by the Association Manager by the deadline (5:00 p.m. on Friday October 16, 2020) was satisfied by fourteen (14) ballots received prior to the deadline. Six (6) additional ballots were postmarked on October 14, 2020 and were received on either Friday October 16, 2020 or Saturday October 17, 2020 (the exact date of receipt by the Association Manager cannot be determined and the ballots cannot be officially counted).

ELECTION RESULTS:

Director Candidate Hampton – 14 official votes to elect (20 votes to elect if Monday morning October 19, 2020 mailed ballots pickup were counted) – Will serve until conclusion of 2022 Annual Member Meeting.

Director Candidate O’Toole – 14 official votes to elect (20 votes to elect if Monday morning October 19, 2020 mailed ballots pickup were counted) – Will serve until conclusion of 2022 Annual Member Meeting.

Director Candidate Bates – 14 official votes to elect (20 votes to elect if Monday morning October 19, 2020 mailed ballots pickup were counted) – Will serve until conclusion of 2022 Annual Member Meeting.

Delegate Candidate Shepard – 14 official votes to elect (20 votes to elect if Monday morning October 19, 2020 mailed ballots pickup were counted) – Will serve until conclusion of 2021 Annual Member Meeting.

Annual Member/Owner Meeting RE-SCHEDULED

In cooperation with “Social Distancing” re COVID-19 the PROA Board of Directors have RE-SCHEDULED the PROA Annual Members/Owners meeting until June 23, 2020, beginning at 6:30 p.m. at the Pinnacle Community Center, 2160 Fox Haven Drive, Castle Rock, CO 80104 (assuming the Pinnacle is available).

At least ten days prior to the Annual meeting, a United States Postal Service “first class” mailing will be sent to Members/Owners confirming the RE-SCHEDULED date (now June 23, 2020 or giving notice of another date if necessary).  Members (having an email address on record with the PROA) will receive updating emails, and updated  postings will be placed on the PROA website.

When the Annual meeting is held, there will be the election of three (3) Lot Owners to the PROA Board of Directors for 2-year terms, and one (1) Lot Owner as the PROA Delegate to the CVRMA for a 1-year term.  Present PROA Directors Dan Hampton, Robert (Bob) O’Toole, and Brian Bates, and CVRMA PROA Delegate Arlin Shepard have been nominated and have agreed to serve another term.

The March 24, 2020 PROA Board meeting was held by conference call.  Minutes will be emailed to Members (having an email address on record with the PROA), and posted on the PROA website.

The scheduled May 26, 2020 PROA Board meeting will be by conference call if the Pinnacle is still closed re COVID-19 concerns.  If to be held by conference call, instructions will be emailed to Members re how to join in on the conference call.
